I ask because it's been a bit on my mind lately, and here are some follow up questions to that:
Do you relate to Dr. Horrible and put yourself in his position, or do you wish there was someone like him for you?
Do you have a problem with the only female character in the admittedly small cast is basically a woman in a refrigerator, despite Whedon being an outspoken feminist?
How do you feel the story would be received if all the principle characters genders were swapped and the script remained the same with the exception of pronouns?
I was not a redditor when I first watched Dr. Horrible's Singalong blog, but now that I am and recently re-watched it, I'm seeing it through the lens of someone immersed in subs like /r/AskWomen /r/Feminism etc. and I now kinda see it as the ultimate Nice Guy fantasy. Thoughts?
