I am replacing the defrost thermostat, and the old one had these connectors on them, but the replacement part only has crimp connectors. Should I look to replace the old connectors, or should I just strip the wires and use crimp connectors? I think that I'd potentially be cutting wire from the defrost heater if I decided to use the crimp connectors.
And what are these connectors called?
