We are having hardwoods installed in our kitchen very soon and I'm wondering about Reddit's thoughts on hardwood under the refrigerator and washer/dryer (washer and dryer closet in the kitchen)? We were given the option to just continue the hardwoods under the refrigerator and WD or to tile under these areas. It's more expensive to bring in tile obviously and I'm not convinced it would do much if there was a leak. What are your thoughts Reddit?
