Hi there, I was just wondering if anyone would have any idea what is covered in an emergency maintenance request? I'm currently renting out a place and the management mentioned that things essential to health like heat or a broken water pipe would count, but what about a broken refrigerator?
I can't afford being charged the $60/hour + for maintenance, but I'm not sure if a broken refrigerator is even covered. I'm not sure if I'm even posting in the correct subreddit, but I was wondering if there was a legal definition for emergency maintenance or if it just depended on management's policy.
