My cat doesn't deserve this venting

Found out after many days of struggling my cat has FIP. He's the smartest and strongest cat I've ever met. I'll never have another cat like this. We adopted him from the streets of Istanbul and he flew to Poland with us. He can open cupboards, refrigerators (to the point we have child locks on everything), and get into almost anything he wanted. He knew when we were upset and sat with us to comfort us, he hated me so much but would sit on my lap every night, and seemed invincible every step of the way. I can't imagine my life without him and I don't know how I'm going to handle having to put him down. I just want him to be ok and I know it won't be. I want him to be ok.

Today sucked venting

So I was woken up at 4:00 am this morning to my wife violently vomiting. She was diagnosed with gallstones back in the spring but because she did not have any flare-ups again at the time, she let it go. This morning she had her worst attack yet. I got the kids off to school and took her to the ER. As we suspected they recommended her gallbladder be removed. They were able to get us in today for surgery but we had to wait and wait and wait. Luckily my neighbors were able to pick the kids up from school and get them off to their baseball practice. After she got out of surgery and got up into her room I ran home to get her a few things as she was staying the night. By this point I had spent about 10 hours at the hospital and had only eaten a pretzel all day. I ran up to the kids baseball practice to tell them hello and give them the status of their mom. When I got to the field I was informed that we would not have enough kids to field a team for this season. As I am in charge of the league I now had to inform the rest of the teams that we would not be feilding a team. I got back to the Hospital, the wife was starting to feel the pain of the surgery. I got her settled in for the night and went back home. It was now 9:30 at night when I got home, and when I saw my oldest (12)the first thing he said was "I'm hungry". I asked didn't you eat dinner. Yes he said but at 4:30. I told him I didn't have anything to eat all day I will go in and make us some grilled cheese sandwiches. I went to the refrigerator and the first thing I noticed everything was warm. Our fridge was not working. I started making the grilled cheese sandwiches and in the meantime started looking at the refrigerator. Next thing I know I have burned four sandwiches. Retry. I got the kids fed, get them showered, brush their teeth, and get them ready for bed. I get the trash put out, feed the cats and decide to just throw in the towel with the refrigerator. I go to text back the 20 or so people that have reached out to me throughout the day give them a status update on my wife and I noticed the 30 emails from the rest of the league arguing about us dropping a team. After going back and forth with these emails at 11 o'clock I decided enough was enough and went to get a shower. My wife is in the hospital I am exhausted I have a whole league up in arms against me my refrigerator is not working and to top it off I got a golfball sized lump on my ass that really hurts. Good fucking night!!!

The fun of the HOLIDAYS!!! venting

I've picked up a second job, which is more of an inconvenience than the $100 I've made working the last two weekends. It's retail, which already sucks.

My wife's family lives 30 minutes away, and we both work Sunday, will her mom watch our 6 month old son....nope. So now my parents who are already watching him Saturday night when we have a wedding to go to (I'll add on to that later) will now have to stay until 5 on Sunday.

My stomach hurts, so my wife feels the need to schedule a doctor's appointment for me to go and tell him I have a tummy ache, people get stomach aches, it's a fact of life, 1)I hate doctors 2)It's a waste of time because they aren't going to do anything for me. I'll hear I need to eat healthier and drink more water. Thank you for going to college for 12 years, and charging me over $100 for this "oh so valuable, why didn't I think of that," information. Obviously I know I need to eat better and drink more water, I choose not to, because I like caffeine, and because I don't have the time or the money to buy the expensive foods and prepare them properly.

On top of that there's always money issues, always. As a teacher and I coach 2 varsity sports I'm already short on time, now with a baby who is awesome but requires time and I love giving him time, he's another priority. I've picked up this second job that pays $8.00 an hour!

The wedding is for a coworker of mine, and I plan on having fun, good clean adult fun. I'm not big on getting hammered but I like to have fun, nothing sloppy. As soon as I start she'll start talking crap, I can't wait for her to ruin my fun at this wedding. She's so judgemental, and talks crap about stuff that she knows nothing about. And can't take correction or criticism herself.

This was supposed to be venting about how I don't have time and stressed out that has turned into wife bashing so let me get back on topic.

We moved into a new place in September, it got flooded when the turned the water on so that was an extra week that we couldn't move in. The contractors have yet to get their lockbox off of our front door months after the work is complete and our refrigerator has a puddle of water collecting on the top shelf. All of this I'm supposed to tell our landlord (apparently I'm the only one in our marriage with their phone number) but after calls and texts they won't respond. But somehow it's my fault that this stuff isn't fixed yet.

That pretty much sums up all of the stuff that I've had thrown in my face this morning by 9:15. Seriously I've had a discussion about all of these things and none of them are getting better anytime soon. LUCKY ME!
