I’m receiving someone else’s emails. computers

I’m hoping someone can help me. For like a year I’ve been receiving a lady named Kathy’s emails.

Let’s pretend my email address is absmith@gmail.com, well Kathy’s email address is a.b.smith@gmail.com. The only difference is the full stops.

I’ve tried emailing this woman, Kathy at her email address but it actually sends to my inbox. I’m emailing myself. I get emails for both absmith and a.b.smith.

The worst part is that I literally get ALL of this woman’s emails including some really personal shit like account numbers, passwords, banking, government shit, her church group, her work roster, her refrigerator model, appointments, everything. I could literally steal this woman’s entire identity if I was so inclined (I’m not by the way. I delete everything. I couldn’t give a shit).

What can I do? I can’t email her (I’m just emailing myself), I can’t email any of the companies or people emailing her (I tried and nothing changes). I could phone her (yes, I know her phone number and her address from her emails) but a) it would be an international call and b) how creepy would that be from her point of view.

I can’t block her address either because I’m effectively blocking my own address.

Can anyone assist?

EDIT: I’ve have my gmail email address for like 20 years so the conflicting accounts must have started with the generation of her email address in the past year or two. I never had a problem until a few years ago.

Aarons will rip you off! computers

So I purchased a touch screen Dell Windows 8 computer from Aarons. It was supposed to be new, and was still in the box when I signed my rent to own contract. My last payment on this item was the first of this month (March 1st 2016) which I have not paid for one reason...the computer was broken from the first day I powered it on! I took it back, and was given a loaner computer. They told me it would take a month to repair...it took three months. I got it back last month, and noticed its still not working correctly! Under my agreement, the warranty expires once I make my last payment but its still broken. I have paid with interest around 2,000 dollars for this computer that had a bad battery, the graphics board was shot, and now I've realized there is something wrong with the mouse pad. You touch the built in pad, and the mouse on the screen jumps all over the place. I have rented to own from them before (a refrigerator) and had problems with it as well. Fool me once shame on them, fool me twice shame on me...I should have never gotten this computer. Advice as to what to do? I want them to fix it, but if I make my last payment, and I hand it over...I may never see it again.

[Question] Can fridge magnets hurt computers? computers

I've been wanting to decorate my case for a while, and I have quite the collection of refrigerator magnets. Would it damage the computer if I placed the magnets on the case? I know that usually, magnets+computer=BAD, but I figure that the magnets won't be strong enough to do any real damage.
