Looking to buy a cheap truck, advice? Trucks

Hi, I am a college student in New Hampshire from Texas. I'm looking to buy a cheap truck so I can get around, since my brother will probably be using my car in Texas for a while. I'm getting a part-time job in the fall that will probably around $1200 a term, and working at home that will net me a few hundred bucks for each break.

What can I get within a couple terms on this budget? There are some last-gen Ford Broncos near me for pretty cheap, I know I can't get anything in particularly good shape for this money. The prices on S10's seem pretty similar to 90's Broncos. Don't know too much about import trucks but I could be persuaded to consider them. I really like square body Chevys but I don't think there's much of a chance of getting one on my budget.

My experience with wrenching is not that high, but I have basic tools and very much want to learn and get my hands dirty. That's actually part of the reason I want a cheap truck.

Plans for this will just be general getting around, moving a bunch boxes/a refrigerator in and out of dorms for moving every couple months, and hunting.

Buying a new commercial vehicle Trucks

I own a restaurant and need to buy a commercial delivery vehicle. Thing is going to be on the road a lot. Needs to hold a stand up refrigerator and guys need to be able to stand in there. I've driven a Mercedes Sprinter 3500 UDV Box Truck before and am thinking that would be perfect for my situation with the light roll up door and step in side entrance. If I went for a brand new 2016, Is it possible to negotiate a price on those vehicles, like any other vehicle or are they typically set in their pricing?

Truck buying on a budget? Trucks

I've got a few other posts on this topic, but my conditions seem to constantly change... I'm looking for a truck sub $3,000 range (used, of course). The big kicker, is that due to parent being weird I have to exclusively buy from Chevy. I've been looking into S10's & Colorados, but I don't know if they're worth it? What do I look for in these trucks, and should I choose the colorado if it's a bit more money?

What will I be using it for: Daily commuting moderately short distances, and hauling things in the bed (at most a refrigerator)

Cheers!
