Loud Establishment Destroyed By EMP ProRevenge

This story was removed by a mod by they said its okay to re-post it after I spoke to them so here you go:

This story takes place a few months ago, my friends father owns a home appliance repair shop in a third world country. They mostly fix stoves, refrigerators and freezers. There is a very loud night club not far from where they live, when I say loud, I mean loud. Their music is often loud enough that it can be clearly heard half a mile away.

This club plays their music well into the night/morning. Obviously this is illegal but due to poorly designed laws they get away with it, some nights they receive a fine but it doesn't seem to matter. Fines are small and they probably counted them as a business expenses. This is where the revenge comes in. For anyone that doesn't know, an EMP or Electro Magnetic Pulse is an electromagnetic wave released when a nuclear weapon is detonated in space, it destroys all electronic devices in a certain range. It's possible to create a similar effect using capacitors and a coil of wire.

Small capacitors can be found in most electronic devices these days, they store energy but unlike a battery they can release all of their energy almost instantly. Large home or business appliances such as refrigerators and freezers often have large capacitors inside. My friends dad, who is also an electric engineer but can't get an engineering job due to the countries horrible economy decided to build several larger remotely activated EMP devices, he disguised them as used alcohol bottles and my friend placed them around expensive equipment such as mixing boards.

Several hours into the night, he activated the EMP devices remotely destroying $10000's of expensive equipment. Nobody ever suspected such an elaborate plan and the equipment looked to be destroyed by a power surge. Due to the club owners tendency to waste money on drugs and hookers, and the fact that there is no such thing as warranties and insurance in their country, well the club went out of business shortly after. The end.

Art school confidential ProRevenge

So this fun little jaunt happened a little over a decade ago when I was still in art school. It involves primarily myself and a good buddy I went to school with who we'll call Dan.

Dan and I were both art majors and each year the art department had a student show. The show was open to any current art major at the school and each artist was liked limited to 5 submissions each.

Dan and I were curious if we could figure out a way to get more than 5 submissions each and came up with the solution of a collaborative artists group.

At the time, there were no artists groups on the campus and we asked several of our professors what the best way to start one was and if that was something that would be encouraged. Historically, artists groups were an important part of up and coming artists as a way to get more exposure and push forward new ideas. The professors we talked to were ecstatic that we were looking to start something like this.

We came up with an idea and wrote out the "rules" for inclusion into our group and what we wanted to accomplish.

We initially called our artist group "The HOPE Recipients" (which we eventually changed and I'll note that later in the story) with the idea that even accomplished artists are capable of making bad art. We wanted to showcase artists' fledgling work. Work that should not have seen the light of day. We made the group open to anyone that met certain requirements (all of which Dan and I did meet).

The requirements were as follows: Each artist must be on the HOPE scholarship (I'm not sure if this scholarship is still a thing or not). Each artist must be in the honors program. Each artist must be on the Dean's List. Each artist must have a minimum GPA of 3.5. Each artist must be in at least 5 different national and/or international honors society (one of which was required to be Golden Key.

With the requirements that we used, while open to anyone, it basically made it so that only Dan and I were "eligible" to be in the group.

Every piece of art that we made under the group name was a collaborative effort. Nothing was produced by one artist solely. The art that we made for the group was an effort to show that while we might look good on paper, sometimes it's still just really bad art. Think 3 year old refrigerator art or the first watercolor or first sculpture an artist makes. Everyone starts somewhere and usually those first few pieces are bad.

So now that we had our artists group conceived and had several pieces ready to go we approached the gallery director and presented our ideas. We asked her if group submissions were allowed and if the artist group could have 5 submissions as a separate entity from our individual submissions. She was excited to hear that we had headed up an artist group and thought it was a great idea. She approved the group's 5 submission slots on top of our own.

Fast forward a few weeks to a handful of days before the galley opening was going to happen. Submissions to the show were going on and the gallery director approached Dan and I. She said that we couldn't have an extra 5 submissions for the group and that the submissions would come out of our own 5. This is not what she said to us originally and we got pretty pissed. We were absolutely up front with the fact that we wanted 5 submissions for the group over our own and she had originally told us that was ok. We decided to pull all of the group's submissions from the show.

About the same time that we were told we can't have the extra 5 submissions we found out that one of the other professors (we'll call her Dr. N) at the university was submitting her student's work without their knowledge. This was not cool and actually hurt the students because part of the art program there was learning the submission process to shows.

Dan and I were constantly talking to a few professors who were on our side and they helped us with suggestions on how to proceed. They didn't want to be directly associated with what we were planning but were extremely helpful in guidance.

This is when we changed the name of the artists group to "The HOPE Recipients: We're Still Smarter than You". We typed up a paper that explained what had happened with our submissions and brought to light that Dr. N was submitting students work for them without knowledge or consent. We made a lot of copies and held on to them until the gallery opening.

Dan and I decided to host our own guerrilla art show in the hallway next to the lobby of the gallery on opening night during the opening. We rallied several other students to help us move our pieces in and set them up. We informed the school newspaper that they might want to be there during the opening. We also got a few photographer buddies there as well to document the event.

So maybe 20 minutes into the opening all of us rushed some tables into the hallway and got the pieces set up. We had little plaquards with the title of each piece and a description of the piece. Some of the pieces we put in this guerrilla show were extremely offensive, by the way. We set out a bunch of our "manifestos" on the tables and started passing them out to everyone that walked by.

Once the papers started circulating there was quite a buzz about our show. Lots of people were going to our tables and taking pictures and talking with us. However, the gallery director was pissed. Like really pissed. She started cussing us out in the hallway. Fortunately the school newspaper showed up with video cameras and got all of that on tape and they did an interview with us a little later.

We were 100% prepared to be asked (or forced) to remove our pieces from the hallway. That didn't happen, but if it had Dan and I had shirts made up with big bold letters saying "CENSORED" on them that we wore underneath our regular shirts.

After all this happened the school ended up changing how submissions to any future shows were handled. Every piece now had to be submitted in person by the artist. No proxy submissions were allowed anymore.

The professors that had backed us up (in ghost mode) thought that everything we did was great. They had the biggest shit eating grins the whole night and congratulated us later after everything was over. They were proud to see some of their students doing things that were causing ripples in the system. That felt great!

The professors that didn't approve of any of this seemed to tread lightly around Dan and I for a while after this happened.

All in all, Dan and I had a great time doing this and it was talked about for a couple of years after it happened. The videos and pictures from the event were lost years later due to a hard drive failure but I would frequently look through the albums with a fond remembrance while I still had them.

Cheat on me with my student, steal from me and then slander my reputation? Get ready to lose your job, future and face jailtime. ProRevenge

I initially posted on r/relationships asking for advice on my fucked up situation. This is an update post. Post is going to long, but bear with me because karma.

PREFACE

So, I was madly in love with my ex gf, together for 4 years. She is quite attractive, and very affectionate. She thrived on attention, to which I catered to the best of my abilities. I fondly called her Winter, and she had a cheesy name for me as well, which I choose not to divulge. Overall, I was happy. I earned significantly more than her, apart from the fact that my grandparents left me a hefty amount of money. Although she lived in her own apartment(we live in a very conservative country, live in relationships are a big taboo), most of the stuff in it was mine. She drove my car, used my laptop, and so on. I have a crappy 32" lcd tv, while she bought a 60" bravia and defaulted on payments after which I had to pay for it. This was not an isolated incident either, because she had a lot of things I was paying for. I admit that I was a doormat, in blissful ignorance of all the red flags.

So, one day I was at her place and I used her laptop to check my email(I couldn't remember her WiFi password). Her g-mail account opened up, and as I went to sign out a hangouts notification popped up which said "God knows I love your body. 7, same park. Night at my place. Wear the dress my name bought for you so I can tear it apart". There were no other texts on that chat head, she probably deleted it. It was my student. My (barely)18 year old, first year student whom we'll call Wuss.

I can't describe how I felt at the moment. It was a wild cocktail of emotions. I slammed her laptop and stormed out of her place. But I was foolish enough to not take any evidence, but they were supposed to meet up the next day and I could catch them red-handed. Next day, I go to the place were they were supposed to meet and catch them making out in MY car. I knock on the window, ask for my keys and tell her to never talk to me again. She was sobbing, apologizing and so on. I asked Wuss to drop her home, and he just... bolted like his tail was on fire. I can never forget the look on their faces - that sudden paleness and shocked expressions. Wuss also forgot his phone in my car.

Meanwhile, I'm being bombarded with texts of her apologizing. I then block her. I left this detail out of the post I made on r/relationships, but I spent the next two days drinking myself to oblivion, and hungover me left a lot of fuzzy details in the post. I tried calling my best friend, but he was away for a business trip so I didn't disturb him. All I did for two whole days was drink, puke, sleep, eat and repeat. Two day's later, when I came to my senses, I went through my bank statements and then cancelled our joint account. Well, she withdrew almost all of the money in it, out of which 3/4th was mine. I was still being bombarded with texts and calls, but sometime during my drunken furore I cracked my phone's screen thus rendering it useless.

So, I got my backup phone and and see a barrage of notifications. As it turns out, she posted on Facebook that I had been cheating on her, that I was an emotionally manipulative, two faced douchebag who sleeps with his students. We had a lot of mutual friends, most of who blocked me. Someone even created a WhatsApp group and they abused me, and said horrible things. She even turned my sister against me. Our father left our mother for a woman half his age, our mother got depressed and died after a few years, thus she was overtly sensitive about infidelity. But ex was also horribly manipulative, and she pushed all the right buttons to make my sister hate me. Ex was hitting all the past wounds(she knew about our father). She said things like "chip off the old block" and "he's just like your father" and many more horrible, made up things. She got very depressed because of this, and also several of her friends were on my exes side. This has probably put a permanent strain on our relationship. Word about ex's facebook post spread like wildfire in the college. They pinned a shy, socially awkward girl as being my mistress and shamed that poor girl. To be honest, I have never even noticed her.

THE REVENGE

Finally, the part everyone was waiting for. She effectively ruined my reputation and goodwill I had created in my community and among my peers. Put my job in jeopardy. She turned my only family, my sister against me. I later show her the apology texts my ex sent me, and then she apologized to me because clearly I was the victim, not her. Several kind redditors suggested I contact a lawyer, which I did.

So the next day when I went for work to take a few days off, I see Wuss and his father for me. Somehow I resisted the urge to punch him. He apologized, and told me that he'd do anything so as to not get him out of college. I asked him if he'd testify in my favour, and he obliged. I did tell him that I won't be able to save him, Because that was out of my powers. He told me he would still testify in my favour, and he sent me several screenshots of his chats with ex, thus confirming that she was cheating on me, and not the other way round.

I pressed charges under IPC(Indian penal code) section 499(defamation), 500 and 504 (Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace). The day of the hearing was frankly the best day of my life since the break up. She said a lot of malignant things about me, was yelling a lot to the point that the judge had to scold her. Her lawyer did ask for an out of court settlement, but I politely declined because it is not only my life she has inevitably screwed over. It would've been a lot more cheaper and I'd have gotten some dough, but fuck her.

This was quite a scandal, but since I have a tenure of 5 years, they can't Fire me. I was transferred to another college instead. Same pay, Same incentives but I'll have to travel a bit more than I prefer.

As for her, she is in knee deep shit. She was a librarian(she's a library science major) in the institution I worked for, and was fired as soon as I notified the authorities. The reason being, "Philandering with a student". This has also screwed up her chances at procuring a job in the future. She also faces Jailtime, As mentioned under section 500 and 504 which can extend upto imprisonment for  over 2 years, a fine or both(and indian jails, sheesh). She can post for bail, however. Wuss has been expelled. The money she stole... That would be going to her lawyer. My best friend went to her apartment, got my stuff back for me... Which included a futon, a refrigerator, an air conditioner, a laptop and several expensive electronics and some jewelry. She would keep the tv though because it is in her name. She'd probably have to sell it, because lawyers ain't cheap. And she has no job, and no savings. This is in India, and as you might've guessed people are very, very conservative here. At some point, She will have to reach out to her parents, who still think she is a virgin.

TL;DR Ex cheated on me with a student, stole from me, posted on Facebook that I cheated, thus slandering my reputation. I have pressed charges, she has lost her job, won't get a job or passport in the future.

The irony is, all this was a consequence of her actions. She caused unspeakable agony not only to me, but to a lot of people.

Liquor Store Brawl Number 1 ProRevenge

This happened a number of years ago when I worked as a manager of a liquor store in a rather crummy part of my crummy town. This liquor store was basically the nexus of all the poorest neighborhoods, as we were the closest (at the time) place to get booze. Needless to say we attracted the absolute worst people imaginable. I'd never been exposed to such unwashed, ignorant, entitled pieces of shit in my entire life - and I was subjected to their buffoonery for close to three years.
Now, I have a half dozen or so bizarre encounters, fights, thefts etc - but this one is by far my absolute favorite. I posted an abridged version of it as a response to a theft once before, but there were a number of details I omitted for the sake of brevity. So here's the long version.

I think I was probably 21 or 22 at the time, and I was riding my first halfway decent motorcycle. A 2005 Yamaha FZ6. I typically parked it towards the edge of the lot near the street so I could see it from the building, but on this particular night I decided to park it right next to the building in view of the cameras. I have no idea why I decided to do it, it was the only time I'd ever moved it there and it is also the only reason these events took place.

There was, and likely still is, a very warn path through a field leading directly from a low/no income apartment complex onto our lot. It's basically a straight line from their front porch to ours, like a migration route for some awful, stinking drunk neanderthals. And before anyone jumps in to defend these people, I have pictures and stories. When life presented them with the option of living or drinking, they chose drinking.

So on this particular night we close up around 12:00 and I head out to my bike, only to find that my tank bag (luggage) has been removed from the motorcycle. This is a rigid canvas bag attached to the fuel tank via straps or magnets, maybe the size of a small backpack. The thing is basically worthless for resale, maybe $20 on eBay, but a pawn shop wouldn't give you anything for it, and unless you have a motorcycle the bag has absolutely no value. Fortunately the bag was nearly empty, with the exception of an extra Driver's License, my insurance, registration, etc.

Needless to say I was exceptionally angry this evening. Some subhuman had swiped all of my information, and my only means of storage. It was especially insulting to have just finished working at my terrible job, being around garbage monsters all day who do nothing but drink, only to have one of these same sponges steal directly from me.

So the next day I tell the owner what happened and have him check the tapes. He makes me a copy so I can give it to the Police and file a report. I make a copy for myself because I'm fairly certain justice won't be served for this individual unless I find him myself. The video is grainy and at night your can't really see much, but I'm fairly certain one of my coworkers will recognize him. You see him walk up to the drive-thru window, order, get his beer, then casually walk over to my bike and fumble with the tank bag for a moment before removing it and leaving. Scratched up the paint in the process.

As luck would have it, two of my coworkers immediately recognize the guy as a semi regular, but I have no clue who he is. So I'm at the mercy of them managing to get his ID, or me being there at the same time they are and pointing him out to me. Odds aren't great, but I'm hopeful and patient.

2 or 3 weeks go by, and one night after leaving a bar I decided to stop in and visit at the liquor store. The inside closes after 10:00pm, and it's usually a little slow, so we're all standing around talking when a customer walks up to the drive-thru window. Now he looks vaguely familiar, but I have no idea why. The coworker waiting on him turns and gives me a look, and then motions to the guy at the window. I mouth "Is that him?", and he nods. Now I recognize him. He's even wearing the same stupid hat. It says something like "FBI - Federal Breast Inspector." Because he's trashy. So this is the guy. Big adrenaline rush.

Now, I'm a completely average size guy. 5'10", 155lbs at the time. There is nothing threatening about me or intimidating, and that seems to work both for and against me because people assume I can't or won't fight. What often gets me into trouble is that I actually enjoy fighting, and when someone tells me they're going to kick my ass I always like to give them a chance. This guy has a fair size and weight advantage on me, and I recognize him as one of the local junkies that's dating a girl I actually went to high school with (and was at the time a prostitute.) I assume he's in bad physical condition, and likely drunk or sedated in some capacity, and this coupled with my having had a few drinks likely fueled the coming confrontation.

I very calmly removed my jacket (I was on the motorcycle again and can't help but wonder how he didn't see that same bike he'd stolen from and think "maybe I should go somewhere else tonight") and walked around the counter to the side door and stepped out into the drive-thru. I wait till he's finished his transaction and say, "Hey man can I talk to you for a second?" He's give me an uneasy look and starts walking towards me. "What's up man?" I proceed to explain the situation to him, very calmly. I said listen, that tank bag you stole off of that motorcycle a few weeks ago was mine. I have you on tape doing it, I actually have the video on my phone right now. I want it back, or I'm calling the police, and then you'll get arrested. That seems like a lot of trouble, so what I'd like to do instead, is follow you to your place, get it back, I won't call the police, and nobody gets hurt.

Now I felt like this was super reasonable, all things considered. Apparently I was incorrect. He's very loudly insistent that it wasn't him, and he has no idea what I'm talking about but I need to get out of his way or he's going to fuck me up. This was both the answer I was expecting, and also kinda hoping for. I restated my position, but this time rephrased it a little.

"You're going to walk over to those apartments you stay at with me, you're going to give me that fucking bag back, or I'm going to smash your fucking head in like a caveman. If you try to run, I'm going to fuck you up, then you're still going to get arrested. I have you on tape. Please understand there is a really easy solution to this."

At his point he is visibly upset, and I can tell he's about to run. So I warn him, "Dude, don't fucking run. If you run from me I'm going to fuck you up." At this point I got up in his face and reiterated that point. "Don't do it man. I'm fucking warning you." So of course at this moment he tries to bolt past me. He was spry, but for some reason I'll never fully understand he runs to the very end of the drive-thru, then takes a left down the alley in an 'L' shape. It confused me even then, but I of course just cut straight across the grass and caught him immediately. Maybe it was the adrenaline rush and weeks of pent up anger, or maybe it was the fact that I'd stood there calmly and tried to reason with this mutant only to have him lie to me despite overwhelming video evidence (also the stupid hat was a dead giveaway), but I guess I snapped. Just as I'm about to tackle him my brain decided my body was going to do something else, and I find myself throwing a Superman punch. I dove towards him and cocked my left hand mid air and punched, connecting on his jaw and simultaneously breaking my hand and knocking him out. Sounds like total bullshit. I absolutely agree. He crumpled to the ground and I immediately regretted throwing that punch. My hand was trashed.

But he was only out for a second, because he started to turn to his side and try to get up. I jumped on him quickly, got into a full mount and pinned both of his arms down. He starts shouting at me and struggling. I tried reasoning with him again. "Listen man, I told you not to run, didn't I? What did you think was going to happen. Quit fucking struggling and listen to me. You're going to go get that bag back. WE'RE going to get it back. Understand me?"

He begins to explain to me that it wasn't him, then he tells me it was his identical cousin. Identical cousin, c'mon man?! Ok well not identical but he looks almost exactly like him, he swears. Then he admits he did it, but he doesn't have it anymore, and doesn't know where to get it because he was fucked up. Now, one of these is probably true but it doesn't matter because basically, I'm probably not getting it back.

About midway through this dialogue he decides it's his chance to turn the tides of this battle, so he tries punch me from his back. I don't even know if he actually clipped me or not but I saw red, and I started wailing on him. My left hand is wrecked already so after several punches I throw a slicing elbow that split his forehead open, badly, and I think his head bounced off the pavement. So he's bleeding a lot from a spot on the front and back. He's also throwing punches up at my face as I'm posturing and throwing down at him. This goes on briefly before he turtles up and I pin him again. I've got my forearm against his throat, asking him what he did with the bag and then letting off so he can answer. After a few rounds of this, he finally admits that he stole it, he sold it for pill money, he doesn't know where it is now. About this time one of my coworkers who had been watching gently put his hand on my should and said, "Dude you're going to kill him." I'm positive I wasn't going to, but I'm glad he said something.

"See? Was that so hard? You could have saved yourself a really savage beating if you'd just admitted it earlier. Now, you're going to say you're sorry, and I'm going to let you up. You're going to walk away, and if I ever see you again, I'm going to beat you a lot worse than this."

I stood up and took a step away from him. He stumbled to his feet, holding his forehead. There was blood all over both of us at this point. His forehead was absolutely gruesome, with a gash running nearly from his eyebrow to his hairline. He glanced down and went to grab his hat and I stopped him. "Nope. That's mine." He looked at his bag of shitty beer. "Nope. Those are mine too. Run, while I let you." You could tell him now going home without those beers was basically the worst thing that had ever happened to, including that beating. Any moment of sobriety was torture I'm sure. As he shambled towards his rat hole apartment I picked up the bag of Bud Ice 22oz bottles and started winging them at his feet. "Run fucker. RUN." What do I want with shitty beer anyway?

So now I'm covered in blood, my hand is broken, and I don't have my tank bag back - but, silver lining, I did walk away with his "FBI - Federal Breast Inspector" hat. And I had it sitting on top of my refrigerator for a number of years.

Long story, I know. But there's actually a few other parts to it. In the aftermath of this fight, there was a completely unrelated fight less than 48 hours later which a guy who had tried to sexually assault a woman at a bar. Nex, the prostitute girlfriend of Tank Bag Thief came in and managed to steal a 1.75 liter bottle of Jose Cuervo Gold, wearing a dress, and without a purse. Think about that one for a second. It's a giant glass handle of liquor. Later, Tank Bag Thief sent a proxy in to try and broker a peace treaty with me. And finally, former coworkers of Tank Bag Thief came in and told me his version of the story, at which point I discovered his name and where he worked.

Thanks for reading. More stories to come.

Ransack my house after a fair agreement? Fine, it's ON. ProRevenge

Coming onto to 2 years ago, I sat my wife down and told her that I was finally divorcing her (had talked for almost 2 years about this). It simply wasn't going to work, and we'd both be much happier not living by each other's now-completely-different-standards of living.

She agreed, and we came up with a parenting plan right then and there moving forward until kindergarten for our shared sons (then about 2 and 4 years old) in a 50-50 status. I gave her 1-2 weeks to move out of my house. Understandably, things got more and more tense every single day until (just 2 or 3 days later), she sparked a fight and screamed a variety of threats at me, ending with "you're never going to see your children again!" I didn't think much of it, as that's hardly the worst she had threatened me with. As per our new parenting agreement, I was to spend the night at my family's over the weekend which I did. But I had a weird feeling the first night. I followed my intuition and drove by my home late in the evening just to check on things and noticed that all the lights were on in the home.

I knocked, rang the bell, and upon no answer then cautiously entered my home (it was unlocked) to find everything gone. I'm talking furniture, food from the pantry/freezer/refrigerator, pictures from walls, drapes, bedding...everything was taken. Of course my son's room (which they shared) was stripped bare of everything (toys, toiletries, clothes). She even took my tools, some designer clothing, and my shoes that she had no need for. The only things left behind were the first toys I ever gave to my sons (each a matching set of stuffed bear) which she left at the door, and a few pictures of Christ (I'm Christian) which she re-hung upside down.

I'll admit that I was devastated that I didn't know where my kids were, and she refused to share where they were, when I'd be seeing them again, or give any information other than to talk through her newly appointed attorney. It was then that I decided to take some action. Through appropriate guesswork, I decided to check by some of her family local in the area to canvas the area. I successfully found my car (which she had taken) parked in the street outside of her aunt's house. I might not be able to get my stuff back, but I'll be damned if she takes some of my most expensive assets - especially as my name was the only one on the cars and my house and I was liable for my property. She had tied a security chain on the wheel attached to the frame, which was very clever of her. There was some sort of party in the home, with multiple vehicles present, and people entering / exiting every 20 mins or so. So I recruited a cousin of mine nearby, and we went to a local hardware store and bought a variety of wire cutters. Then we waited down a nearby street. After 2-3 hours had passed and almost all the additional cars had left, my cousin and I raced over to my car. We cut the chain, I put in my extra key, and we drove back to my other car and then drove back home. Through a series of carefully articulated events between my attorney and myself, I was able to keep both of my cars, my house, and all other major assets. From what she said, she had to take public transport or borrow her family's vehicles to get around during the Easter / early summer holidays. But in the end we got a 50-50 joint-everything for our kids. I even ended up with no alimony payments.

TLDR - I tell you we're divorcing and practically the next day you take off with my kids and the entire home? Fine, let's see how you manage with no transportation.

icecream! ProRevenge

This happened about 6 years ago when I decided to pursue an MBA in a foreign land. Cost of living didn't exactly work in my favour and I ended up spending a lot more than I had originally budgeted for. I was burning through the money that I had brought with me at a very rapid pace - mostly on food and ensuring that I didn't sleep or study on an empty stomach. I desperately needed money to survive the remaining 6 months in the course and could not go back to the bank for any more loan – I had no more collateral to offer. Also, the School rules explicitly stated that students were NOT allowed to take up a job while they were studying. Their intent was obviously to ensure that students solely focused on studies during the duration of the course. Besides, the curriculum was so intense, we barely slept 3 -4 hours a day in ensuring that we completed all assignments. Point being, I was running out of money with no time or ability to take up a job to earn any money.

Since most students invariably ended up staying up as late as 4am to 6am completing assignments, the McDonalds across the street was a favourite goto for midnight snacks. We knew that eating at a McDonalds was going to wreak havoc with our health and pretty soon everyone was gaining weight around the tummy. I decided to step in with the idea of home brewed, low sugar, log fat milkshakes for sale in the dormitory. I bought a hand blender, milk, icecream and some ingredients to flavour and tested a couple of recipes with a sample of students. They loved it and started ordering milkshakes every day. The milkshakes were healthier and cheaper than what was sold at MacDonalds. My business broke even in a week and pretty soon I was able to meet most of my daily food expenses.

One particular evening, as I opened the refrigerator in the common area where I stored all my ingredients, I saw that someone had finished off my icecream stock! Obviously, I couldn’t sell any milkshakes that night. The next day, I bought some more icecream and stored it in the refrigerator and yet again someone ate it all up. I bought another pack of icecream the next day and again, it was gone the next day. Unfortunately for me, there were no security cams pointing at this part of the common area so I was left to pay Sherlock by myself.

I bought a pack of expensive orange flavoured icecream on the next day and stored it as usual. Oh and I also added 2 whole bottles of orange flavoured liquid laxative to the icecream. And waited patiently outside the restroom on a chair the next day. Sure enough, Mr. Thief showed up 4 times to use the restroom. Our eyes met when he walked in the fifth time and I smiled broadly at him. He realised I had done this to him, mustered a weak smile and went to visit Shit Heaven. The best part? He couldn’t even complain about me since that would mean admitting he stole food from the common area and I could register a formal complaint. In case you were wondering, he used the toilet a total of 9 times during the day. Pretty strong stomach for someone used drank two bottles of laxative.

CHUG & SPEW! ProRevenge

My wife works for a national chain of home improvement stores and brings her lunch with her to work daily including bottled water to drink while she eats. When she gets to work she stashes all the consumables in the refrigerator in the break room.

We live down south (USA) and last July was extremely hot. I'm talking over 100 degrees F.

For 3 days in a row my wife's water bottles were just disappearing between the time she got to work and meal time.

Obviously, someone (other then my wife [love you sweetheart]) thought they were too good to drink from the water fountain. I can only assume it was someone working the UN-air-conditioned garden center that was extremely thirsty and couldn't resist the cold water.

After the second day I recommended a revenge plan which my wife shot down due to it possibly putting her job in jeopardy.

After the third day she agreed.

I looked up a video on YouTube on how to open water bottles without breaking the seal. For those who are interested: http://youtu.be/a-wXpQ4xY6w

Anyway the plan was to refill the water bottles with vinegar. I filled 2 water bottles with vinegar and left 1 alone. I put a little mark on the WATER bottle so she would know which one was still good to drink.

She went to work and set the trap.

When she came back into the break room for lunch one of the vinegar bottles was gone from the refrigerator. On the other side of the room there was a liquid all over the floor- like someone had walked into the break room all hot and sweaty, saw the magical chilled beverages that always appeared and CHUGGED and SPEWED vinegar!!

While we never did find out who was stealing the water it hasn't happened since and just imagining what I just described above has been very satisfying for me. Hahahha!

Roommate demands keeping the place at 59 degrees during winter, so I get even. ProRevenge

Honestly, I should have known better than to live with this person since her mother owned the place; however, I was in college and it seemed convenient after meeting them through a mutual friend.

Amy and I split the utility bills evenly yet she thought it was fine to keep the place at 59 degrees during winter. Of course, I offered a reasonable compromise of 67 degrees since that would be halfway between the temperature she wanted versus what I wanted. She refused to budge since she claimed she couldn't handle a temperature above 65 degrees and that she was trying to save money, so I call up her landlord, which is her mother as I mentioned above.

Surprisingly, her mother is equally immature and childish about the situation to the point of also refusing despite me contributing financially to the energy bill. My 1st act of revenge was informing Amy's mother that my mother and I are concerned about Amy's sex life. Moreover, I specified that Amy has been bringing home random strangers and that Amy told me herself she's been with over 20 guys already despite being only in her early 20s, which is all true. Amy's mother is speechless for a moment before asking me how I would feel if Amy told something personal about myself to my mother. I respond that I have nothing to hide, so I wouldn't care, which is also true.

Next, I tell Amy that I'll be turning up the thermostat to 80 degrees whenever she's not home from now on. This 2nd act of revenge continues for a few days before she finally gives in to meeting me halfway.

Unfortunately, I couldn't resist committing a 3rd act of revenge. Yes, I realize this part was possibly crossing the line, but I had enough at this point. A while ago Amy had informed me that her stepfather used to feed her grilled cheese sandwiches after molesting her. Well, I may have brought home a grilled cheese sandwich one day and made sure to place it in the front of the refrigerator for a certain someone to see.
