Got a bottle of it yesterday but I am not keeping it in the fridge, should I? I read online 42 days is the longest you can keep it out the fridge but just wondering if anyone has experience with it
I stupidly reconstituted the Orexin a when a new refrigerator is coming. It'll be out of the fridge for 6 hours. Is that a huge deal? Also does noopept need to be refrigerated when in a spray bottle?
So I received my Selank nasal spray today from Nootropics Source and the ice pack was completely defrosted and room temperature, and so was the bottle of Selank. Do you think it's still good? I put it in the refrigerator as soon as I opened the package.
I reconstituted Semax and Selank about a week ago. Prior to that, the Lyophilized vials were stored refrigerated for 6 months.
After reconstituting, I had been very careful about keeping them in the refrigerator until I spaced out today and left them in the bubble wrap in a hot car (not in direct sunlight, but easily ~80-90* F inside) for about 1.5 hours.
I am worried I may have destroyed the peptides, as I remember reading that they are very sensitive to heat and vibration once reconstituted.

I know that Semax and Selank must be kept in a cool dark place once reconstituted and that it only has a limited life span even when stored reconstituted in a refrigerator, BUT what happens to it once it goes off? I have numerous half used vials accumulated in my fridge as I move onto a new vial after a few months. Are the old vials good for anything at all? Do they still contain anything of value once 6-9 months old? I was going to put them into my intranasal bottle to practice intranasal administration.
Hi. I bought some nootropics/supplements/vitamins and I would like to know how to store them for 6-12 months. I live in Brazil, Ceara and here it has a lot of sun and it is very hot (32-40 C). I searched the internet and still could not have a formed opniate.. I saw that there are certain nootropics that should be stored with silica. Some should be stored in the freezer and others in the refrigerator. Here's what I bought and the quantity for 6-12 months:

I know fish oil should be stored in the freezer. Peptides should be stored in the refrigerator with silica? and the rest? where should i store? like i told you, here in my country/state is very hot and theres sun everyday!

Perhaps a large freezer with low humidity, or a separate, cool room with a thermostat set to a certain level and a dehumidifier?
What would the ideal temperature/humidity level be for maximum preservation?

I only see conflicting advice when it comes to this. The bottle itself says to not keep in refrigerator after opening. However /u/lostfalco says to keep in the fridge. Just wondering if by now enough people have played around with different variables to come to some kind of conclusion on this.
Can I clean out and sterilize old nasal spray bottles or perhaps even the tincture bottle, and just drip into my nose?

So I have 2 nasal spray bottles, one washed with tap water and in room temp and one untouched in the refrigerator, both empty. Can I use one or either of them and, if so, how? I thought about drenching them in alcohol and then evaporating it quickly but I'm certain that would still mean some contamination would take place.
How do I have to make the nasal spray anyway? I assume that pathogen contamination is not even close to be so dangerous as with injections but I'm still wary. Do I just pour the reconstituted peptide in the nasal bottle? Won't that mean that the peptide will degrade much faster, even in the freezer? Any guide anywhere I can see?

Background: Ok so let me start off by saying that I've tried a very large number of nootropics/supplements/drugs to help improve my symptoms of aspergers, with many varying results. Intro: So naturally when I saw my favorite vendor offering oxytocin, I knew this was something I had to try after seeing research with oxytocin for autism. I just want to preface by saying these are my first impressions(first few days), and I'll need a good month or so of consistant dosing to give my favorite reddit community a good detailed experience report. So far, this is what I've experienced:
Effects: -Increased Anxiety. Not necessarily a bad anxiety though. Its kind of hard to describe. Almost like an excited anxiety. Like if you're about to do something important that you've been really looking forward to, like you're nervous/excited at the same time. I would call it a neutral feeling as opposed to traditional anxiety or nervousness
-It has somewhat of a sense enhancing effect. Like immediately after I made the solution (shout out to /u/srubek for explaining exactly how to make the solution), I took a dose and within about a minute I found myself staring at my carpet for some reason and noticing the texture of it. Like it looked even fuzzier than normal. I just ran my hands through it thinking damn this is a nice carpet (lol). I haven't really experienced this since the first time I've tried it though.
-Sort of a giddyness type feeling. Like while texting me girlfriend, she texts me that she misses me and I always reply that I miss her too. That first night I tried it, I got that text from her and I just had the biggest smile on my face, and just kind of "felt" that she was missing me. We text each other this all the time, but this time it just felt more meaningful. Like it wasnt just simply something we always text each other; rather I felt happiness and a connection knowing that she misses me and I miss her too. I'm actually hanging out with her tomorrow night, so it should be interesting to see if I notice any changes while being with her in person.
So this is all I have for now; For some reason, that first night immediately after my first dose I felt it the most, and the other 3/4 times was sort of a similar feeling, just to a smaller extent. What I'm starting to think is that putting it in the refrigerator was a bad idea. I read online that it should be refrigerated so it doesn't degrade, but that first time I tried it was at room temperature immediately after making the solution, so maybe it became less potent? I'm not sure if I should keep it refrigerated or at room temperature, or if I can leave it back at room temperature once I've refrigerated it. Isn't it supposed to be refrigerated? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Also the effects seem to last about an hour or so, and maybe after consistently taking it for a month will help it build up some in my system and last longer.
Either way, a good consistent month of dosing will give me a good idea of how it really affects me. I've read many raving posts about different nootropic experiences during the first few days, only to be updated some time later saying it wasn't really all that great; the placebo effect is definitely real. And I have asperger's, so it may affect me differently than it would a neurotypical person. Also I apologize in advance for any possible misspellings or bad sentence structure, I just felt compelled to write this up and share with you guys really quick before bed because I haven't seen any reports yet and I know some people have been asking about it.

I don't know what is the best place for storing nootropics, specially in the summer, as I understand refrigerator could be a good option, however I'm thinking if a cooler could do the same.
Could there be a problem with the humidity if the powder is stored in the refrigerator or in the cooler?
(In summer the temperature here never exceeds 35 degrees here)
I recently ordered Super B12, NA-Semax, and Noopept from Ceretropic. It gets pretty hot in my apartment so I've been storing them all in my refrigerator.
Are there any potential downsides to keeping all 3 of these in my refrigerator at all times, and only taking them out to use them? I know some of Ceretropic's items have a "do not refrigerate" label, but none of those 3 did.

My Semax spray from Ceretropic arrived warm despite the 'ice+thermal' packaging. Should I be concerned that it is now compromised?
I put it into the refrigerator immediately and the glass, at least, became cold again quickly, so it wasn't tooooo warm.
So I ordered some of Ceretropic's 200mcg intranasal spray recently and began dosing as of 3 days ago. I've been taking one spray per nostril (for 400mcg) once per day for these three days. In the interim, I've been keeping the vial in the refrigerator to avoid any unnecessary degradation. I've noticed a definite which seems to come on about 30 minutes after dosing.
The focus enhancement portion of the effects seems to be most strong for the first 4-5 hours, but remains even after waking in the morning to a small degree. I'm also a hobbyist musician and I've noticed my improvisation has improved in that I am able to return to a certain motif more easily and my hand eye coordination seems improved as well. My peripheral vision seems slightly widened. The focusing effect reminds me quite strongly of how I felt on Concerta but without the uncomfortable chest sensations. There was a bit of upper body tension the first time I tried Semax, particularly my neck, but that could be due to initial excitement/anxiety and it hasn't occurred since.
Overall, this seems like a very promising nootropic. I initially was thinking of trying Selank first due to the overstimulation I've heard some people experience with Semax but I haven't felt much of that at all.
I have had a bottle of Selank from Ceretropic in my refrigerator for a while, but the pump broke on it so I simply put the loose tip on top of the socket.
Should I assume that the Selank is inactive now? And is it safe to still try it out?
I believe there might still be partial peptides that could work, but I am not sure if the solution has gotten contaminated due to being exposed to air and bacteria in the refrigerator.
I had a 5 gram tub of Tianeptine. I was dosing from it but eventually it hardened. I was able to dissolve the hardened tianeptine in tap water. Now that I have it in tap water how long will it stay good for?
I put it in a 8oz, no spill container and added more water to it but I assume it cannot be kept in that form indefinitely. Although I can shake it up anytime I want if it begins to settle.
Or is tianeptine in tap water a bad idea. The tap water was purified with a Brita water filter, if that matters. I also stuck it in the refrigerator.
