Any Powerwall Experience? electricians

Some of you probably know that Tesla is selling a thing called a PowerWall which is a residential battery, which might be used to store solar power if you're doing solar, or might be used to buy electricity during cheaper times of the day.

Since we're having big storms and flickering lights (ComEd...) and I have multiple sump pumps and refrigerators, it's got me thinking again and i wondered what, if anything, you guys know about them.

As a bonus, I ran across this thing (http://ift.tt/2uj8WrR) while looking at alternatives and found it pretty scary. It's a box that just plugs into an outlet and provides power to that circuit back through the outlet it's plugged into. Check this FAQ about how they prevent backfeeding onto the grid in an outage.
