The building next to ours in SOMA is undergoing construction (and has seemingly done so for over a year). That building is taller than ours and the construction workers keep dropping heavy items on our roof, shouting loudly, hammering stuff, and so on. I've already shouted at them to get off our roof but they don't understand English well and, a few days later, they are back.
Fortunately, so far there doesn't seem to be any damage to the roof but if they keep up with dropping what seems like refrigerators and bricks on our roof, I'm not sure if it will continue to hold up.
They've also put really flimsy looking wooden planks on our roof and their workers walk around on them without wearing hard hats.
Is there any legal recourse for this?
