My [29F] boyfriend [37M] has twins [13M]. I was asked to go pick up the cake it has only one of the twins name on it and he say's it's right. relationships

I don't know what the fuck is going on with my boyfriend, but something is wrong.

I live with my boyfriend and his two sons. They're twins Owen and Steil (you pronounce it steel). It's they're 14th birthday tomorrow and he asked me to go pick the cake up. So I went to the cake place and they showed me the cake. It said Happy Birthday Owen! I said to the lady you've made a mistake, it's suppose to say Owen and Steel. She looked at me and pulled up the order. My boyfriend wrote on the order "Happy Birthday Owen!"

So I bought the cake home and I was curious to see what he would do if I did not say anything at first. I saw him open the box, look at it and put it in the refrigerator. I asked him if the cake was correct and he said it was. I've been sitting here for the past 4 hours and all the little things I never payed attention to have just hit me like a ton of bricks.

• Owen and My boyfriend go out together on the weekends. Steil goes to hang out with friends, his cousins or two sisters.

*My boyfriend is very involved in Owens athletic prospects. He does not seem to care at all about Steil football.

• Steil normally walks to school and Owen gets a ride

• Steil is actually moving out in January when his mother moves back to the state. He has a calendar on his wall counting down dates. I never knew what it was for. I had a actually look at it and it says "Mom's back"
