Cold Brew Questions starbucks

After getting inconsistent cold brew for months, I finally decided to email corporate to try to get some helpful answers. Instead, I predictably received a poorly written form letter that didn't actually answer my questions. (That said, I appreciate the effort and the $7 credit they gave me.)

Would you guys happen to have the answers to my questions? My original email is below. Thanks in advance!

*Hi Starbucks Crew,

I wanted to share some info about my visits over the past several months. Overall, my experiences have been great. The staff has always been friendly and on top of things. Usually, the service times have also been pretty good.

However, your cold brew coffee has been inconsistent at multiple locations. Many days it is perfectly smooth. However, about 25% of the time I get a really bitter cup (my regular order is a grande with 2%). What causes this, and how should I ask the barista to adjust my drink (preferably without sugar) when it is bitter?

Also, I'm trying to cold brew your coffee occasionally at home, but I've been getting inconsistent results. How many ounces of Narino coffee do you use for every gallon of water, and how long do you let it steep? Is the Narino considered a medium or dark roast? After it is brewed, should I use of 1:1:1 ratio of cold brew concentrate, ice, and water? Do you brew the Narino in a refrigerator or just on a counter at room temperature?

Thanks for your time. Have a great day!*
