Black Friday deals a flyin' Selling new appliances at a local independent dealer that has the word discount in the name.
C: how much for this refrigerator M: let me take a look M: you can see here "various big box store" price is $1200 and it's black Friday pricing so they are 37% off which is a very good deal.
M: I can sell it to you for $1150 to save you an extra $50 bucks!
C: only $50? M: well the pricing is so low now, they come down to around where we sell it for normally (This is actually true, we usually don't have to change our pricing much during these big % off sales at big box store)
C: I'm not sure that is a big enough discount.
M: well Mr. Customer, if I were $50 more would that be enough of a sale at "various big box store" to make you leave here and buy it there?
C: well yeah, why would I pay $50 more to buy it here if I could buy it for less somewhere else?
M: blank stare
