This is the first time I am experiencing this, and I am concerned. Here are the facts:
-
My girlfriend is on birth control (Nexplanon) and apparently her period is a lot worse when she’s not on it. She’s not fat by the way, she’s 5’5 and 110-115 lbs
-
Yesterday was the first day and she threw up for basically 3 hours straight, but told me “don’t worry! This only happens every couple months and before I would be sick the first two days straight. A few hours is nothing!” I can’t really see how this is nothing, it looks pretty awful
-
Today she is super hungry. She has eaten everything, I have never seen her eat this much before. We were making snacks for our movie night and she made 2 sandwiches (peanut butter and honey), 15 chicken nuggets, a salmon burger and two poached eggs. Normally we just have popcorn but this time she insisted. I thought that we were going to share but it was all gone in 20 minutes. We each ate an entire pizza for dinner…
-
She’s also really emotional. We went to get water from the fridge and she likes her with ice. She forgot to check the setting and it gave her crushed ice instead of cubed and she started crying about it. Not shedding a tear, actually sobbing and I had to pat her on the head until she stopped.
-
I handed her a peach this afternoon but she dropped it on accident. She asked me for another one since she didn’t want it bruised, and after she finished the peach started worrying. She doesn’t want the next person who grabs a peach to find a bruised one. I had to calm her down from it as she was considering eating the dropped peach. She said she felt really guilty
-
She is sweating more than usual
Can anybody tell me if this is normal? I’ve googled but I get very broad answers that don’t help. Do I need to tell her to see a doctor?
TL;DR: Never had a gf before. Now I have one and she is on her period and I don’t know what’s normal and what isn’t. help me
