My [20F] boyfriend [21M] were talking about food until I said "Kayne Pepper" instead of "Cayenne Pepper". He told me that this relationship might not be worth it and i'm not sure sure where we stand right now. relationships

So my boyfriend is a great cook. He loves cooking, we watch youtube videos together, visit /r/food, and a whole bunch of stuff. We cook together all of the time.

Today i was talking about things i could start cooking in the kitchen, when i mentioned that my grandmother puts cayenne pepper in the refrigerator. I pronounced it like kayne pepper. My boyfriend was really confused and he began to start questioning this relationship. I am scared because he cooks really good food!!!

tl;dr: I pronounce Cayenne pepper like Kayne pepper and its breaking my relationship...
