Hey folks, hope some of you can give me a insight on a small project may boss has for me.
Basically he wants the water line feeding to his refrigerator to have a shut off valve. It's a copper line but he's not sure exactly what diameter. He's assuming it's 1/4".
My question is:

can I find a valve that small at say home depot?

The valve would be a 1/4" sweat by what? What sort of hose, if any hooks up the refrigerator?

Is lead free solder appropriate for this application?
