TL;DR: I got about 1500 in my checking when I should really only have 200. Pending withdrawl is not showing up on my mobile app, and today i found a random ATM credit for about 700.
Long version:
Booked a hotel for a couple days out of town for a training seminar. My company tells me to pay up front, save the receipt, and they pay me back on my check. No prob. I go to the hotel with about 900 in my account, check in and they swipe my card for the 650. I check my chase app and see the charge pending to my account. Again, no prob.
Couple days go by, I go to check out and get my receipt. They swipe my card again, I get the receipt for 675, after valet services. I fill up my tank and drive back home.
I get home and check my account to see how much damage I've done, and my account is back up to that 900 mark. This was this past thursday.
I'm thinking, they had to go in and edit for the valet and I'll see the 675 taken out in a day or two.
Today is sunday, I check the app again and now there's a 715 credit to my account from an ATM. I'm confused as hell right now. My available balance is saying I have 1500ish when I know it should be closer to 200 after buying other stuff and the hotel.
I know better than to go out and buy a new refrigerator or something with it right away, so I'm gonna let it sit in my account for a while.
Obviously someone, or something has made a mistake down the line, and i dont want to call chase and tell them, hey i have too much money. So, my real question is: well, what do I do, if anything?
