I'm 38 years old. I am educated and capable and I make less than $30,000 a year. I can't keep up the maintenance on my vehicle. I can't help my widowed mother. I can barely keep food in my refrigerator. I spend most of my time at work (retail). I have no savings. I'll never be able to retire. I'll never be able to buy my own damn house.
I work damn hard. I'm good at my job. And I have nothing to show for it but sore muscles.
I'm just discouraged and tired.
