Plumber wisdom needed in a 'refrigerator water line' hookup. Plumbing

I am a few months away from releasing a product I invented for use on the market. Simply put, it's a mountable plant wall (just a wall unit with plants on it) that will have the option for the customer to put an automatic water refill line into the unit.

I already have the water solenoid built into the product. What I am looking for is anyone who can shed their experience and wisdom on what the customer would have to do, if they wanted to have a setup like this, in their home, and also if the setup was in a commercial space, like a hotel lobby, or an office space.

What is the approximate cost and procedure for the customer in each respect, to prepare the water infrastructure, for our product?
