I just moved into a new house with a KitchenAid refrigerator. The water has little translucent white prices floating in it, so I wanted to clean the lines with vinegar. I disconnected the refrigerator line that is connected to the water supply, and I held the disconnected end up high and poured vinegar in, but the vinegar did not move...even as my wife held the water dispenser down, the vinegar sat stagnant. What am I doing wrong? I have done this in the past on a Whirlpool refrigerator and had no problems.
