First, let me preface this with the type of refrigerator I'm speaking of: The common top freezer, lower big door. Heat rises, so in a fridge-only system the coldest place would be in the drawers at the bottom. The freezer apparently has some affect on the distribution, as my beverages seem to get colder the closer to the freezer they are. Am I wrong here, and the lower it is the colder? Is the closed system so small there really isn't much difference? Does the freezer up top create a loop where heat that rises is cooled, making the coolest place the bottom shelf above the drawers due to circulation?
