I have been waiting over 3 months for a refrigerator repair company to fix it. They claim it's due to being an LG brand and they're notorious for having to wait for parts. Reddit, are they scamming me? AskReddit

This reminds me of a mechanic milking the clock to get "parts" and the "labor is going to cost xyz more" situation. Anyone a "fridge guy" that can tell me if I'm being scammed.... Also, if anyone wants to share similar appliance stories.
