I recently needed fresh dill for a couple of recipes so bought a bag from my local market. I came, I cooked, we ate and I still have a ton of leftover dill. The bags my market sells are giant and I don’t want the rest of this lovely herb to go to waste.
I’ll probably freeze some in ice cube trays (blanched water or olive oil…not sure yet) but I’ve admittedly never done this with dill before. I found a recipe that makes use of dill pesto so I may give that a go (although I’m not crazy about pecans, as they suggest). I’ve already made refrigerator dill pickles and I’ll probably make some type of cucumber-dill salad but I need more recipes and ideas!
I still have cups and cups of dill so don’t be hesitant to suggest recipes that call for a lot of it! I’m open to suggestions from all cuisines and love trying out new dishes. Thanks, All!
