I'm in one of those lovely nostalgia American 1950's diners drinking the best milkshake of my life and that question crossed my mind. I'm sure it has to do with the cultural importance of the refrigerator/freezer... but a full perspective on the topic would be fascinating since it will portray the dull spectrum of reasons why such an odd idea like frozen food becomes such a universally loved commodity.
