We've been looking at GE slate appliances and I see some that are pretty reasonably priced and some that are quite a bit higher (such as refrigerators like the GE GNS23GMHES for around $1300 and the GE PWE23KMDES for about $2100) We are building a house and it should be done by mid September. Since it looks like some of these models are reasonably priced, would you advise buying the appliances now if we find a decent deal or should we wait until it's closer to closing to try to pick something up? I assume some of these cheaper products are just older models and might not be around by August. In the very least, we will have to have our dishwasher sooner than later, so it can be installed. Any thoughts on the GDT580SMFES vs the GDF540HMFES?
