Struggling not to preach...help! vegan

So I've been vegetarian for the past 2 years and, I have now made the leap into veganism. It just makes sense! What tipped me over the edge when deciding to go all the way was a documentary on Netflix called 'Cowspiracy'. If you haven't already watched it, I recommend you do. It's was extremely eye opening to the necessity of going Vegan if not for any other reason than climate change. When you think of global warming and its causes you automatically think of CO2 emissions, green house gases and burning fossil fuels as the main contributor to the destruction of our wonderful planet but, in actual fact it's the agriculture behind the meat and dairy in our refrigerator's that should be our main concern.

There we all our recycling and walking to work instead of driving thinking we're doing the best we can when, actually it's our diets we should be most concerned with changing. Don't get me wrong, everyone should continue recycling and walking to work but, it's been made out as if they are the most important things to be focusing on.

My point is, if you have seen cowspiracy, once you know something you can never un-know it. And if the statistics are correct and we carry on the way we are, funk knows what kind of planet our children are going to be living on.

My point is, how can we not be preachy! I want to Fucking scream at some people sometimes. I know that wouldn't help but, you have to understand the frustration. I'm surely not alone. I'm not surrounded by like minded people and, it's really tough sometimes when even you're best friends and, the people you love are so completely in the dark and unwilling to even try and see the light. This problem we have with deforestation to support our gluttonous food habits is going to change the world really soon and not for the better. How can I not preach when it seems so urgent that people change?

Sorry for the rant, I'm not feeling particularly happy with the world.
