I've tried once in the 5 years I've been brewing. Just yesterday, 3 weeks after bottling it I had one bottle bomb that blew my refrigerator door open.
It's time for round 2. I'm looking to brew a non-alcoholic ginger beer, or perhaps one that is very low ABV (might not be much of a choice there). I've sifted through recipe after recipe, trying to come up with my own. I'm now coming to my favorite community on Reddit for help on this one. What's a good way to go about this? I've seen recipes where I grate some ginger and mix it with sugar in small doses for 7 days in a row, and others where I just boil water/sugar/ginger and bottle it. I guess what I'm asking is for general procedures instead of actual recipes. I can add my own stuff as I go.
If it turns out well, I promise to send each one of you who offer help a bottle or three of it (my expense of course). You can hold me to that.
