Shared lunch spaces much like shared office space self

So for business that do not have a large enough cafeteria for their employees, a shared lunch room space will be available. Being downtown, i am steps from the Corner Mall which has a large downstairs eating space that is barely ever filled. Why not businesses in the immediate are sublet the space and make it badge accessible. You can bring your own lunch, the space is cleaned by the Corner mall's people. The space is paid for by your job. If you need to have a small meeting, you can do that as well (meetings are by appointment only and cannot be between 11-2. Microwaves and water are available while premium drinks and chips are available for purchase. No refrigerators so you will have to store the food at your place of employment.

The only thing missing is the incentive for the existing business to allow the subletting. I assume the money needed to have your colo cafeteria would be enough for the Corner Mall but I am not sure if that is enough.

There is a lunch room at my job but it is made for one floor of admin people (8 places to sit). If I brought my lunch in and that room is filled, I will have to find a stairwell or single bathroom to have my lunch. Sure they could build another one but the alternative apace is available. Why not use it instead of loosing desk space?
