My bitch ass game may be bugged or glitched. Anyone else experience this? thesims

The Sims is by far the most bugged game in the world, but we all still deal and love it.

So, my Sims 4 family.

I saved and exited the game a few hours ago. I went back in around a hour ago. Turns out I can no longer tell my sims to eat a leftover or cook a meal, they only respond to the 'quick meal'.

I replaced the refrigerator, no luck.

I threw in some 'motherlodes' and got a new pre-existing lot, with a pre-existing refrigerator. Still no luck.

What the hell happened? I have never had this happen with my experience in any of The Sims games.
