LPT Request: how to store prepared meals loseit

I am preparing to start preparing meals every few days and storing them in my refrigerator. Each day will consist of 6 meals.

I was thinking about getting 18 plastic containers like this but was told that they leach chemicals into the food. Would hard plastic containers do the same thing? Or, are stainless steel bowls or stainless steel containers the solution?
