Posted a picture of my hot water heater, not really sure if it helps or not.
I'm renting and obviously can get the property manager to fix these issues but they will not be out until Monday so if it's something simple I'd prefer to get it done my self.
First issue I found was that one of my bathrooms toilet is not filling with water. I verified the valve is open to the wall. If I manually fill the tank it'll flush of course. (this is the bathroom in the master room which is right behind the garage where the water heater is. Main bathroom works fine.)
Second, more important issue, is that I have no hot water! I messed around with the breaker box and honestly they are all messed up. For example one breaker is labeled "Kit-2" is turned off but if I turn it on the refrigerator stops working. So I assume that some of the other breakers are messed up as well. I've tried switching the one that says hot water heater off and on and neither provide hot water.
I opened the front panel for the hot water heater and hit the reset button. Also I attempted to turn the red valve at the top but I'll be honest and say I turned it maybe a 8th a turn and it's just too freaking tight. I don't want to turn it and end up causing it to break.
So I get cold water to the whole house except for the one bathroom toilet. (sink and shower get water)
Any ideas? I'd love a warm shower tonight or tomorrow. :(
