I bought a refrigerator and installed it without reading the instructions... I was supposed to let the coolant "settle" before turning it on, but I didn't! Appliances

I can't believe I only just read the manual now. I had also transported it on its side, so that's even worse, right?

I think I only had it sitting upright for 30 minutes at most before I turned it on, it's been running for a few days now since then. I think it's working fine, but I feel like it's running the compressor a lot, and the noise from it is slightly louder than I expected. I could be wrong.

Anyway, should I turn it off for a few hours and turn it back on?
