Recently I came across this Banana Peanut Butter Refrigerator Oatmeal recipe and thought I would try it out since it looked easy, could make it the night before, has the potential to keep me full in the mornings and contains two of my favourite things: bananas and peanut butter (or PB 2). To keep things healthy, I skipped out on adding the 1 teaspoon of honey as I figured the peanut butter would give it some flavor. Well the whole thing turned out to be bland and unbearable. How could I make this taste better while keeping the whole recipe under 300 calories? Will the teaspoon of honey really make that much of a difference? Should I try it with vanilla flavored Greek yogurt instead of plain?
