Just thought I'd give an example of how someone would start a universe/plot/storyline.
The sword came down and sliced Redd's arm off, blood gushing out of the stump. He stumbled backwards, his vision becoming bloody. This was the end, he thought, as the punisher crept closer to his nearly lifeless body.
Redd woke up.
He looked over at this clock next to his bed. It was 11:30 am. He was late to class. He jumped out of bed and ran to the bathroom. He wore a white T-shirt with gym shorts, he thought it was comfortable enough to go to sleep in and right now, it's clean enough to go to school in. He sprayed on some deodorant as a makeshift shower and ran downstairs. Sprinting to the refrigerator, he chugged some juice and grabbed a slice of bread. He made his way out of his dorm, picking up his Hover-X on the way, and rode toward his class.
Redd still remembered getting his Hover-X, one of the fastest hoverboards on the market. It was his 14th birthday. He was so excited, his dad made hints all month that he got him the gift Redd always wanted. Even though no one showed up, it didn't matter as long as Redd got his Hover-X. He ate his cake and excitedly waited as his dad pulled a large box out of his closet. He shredded open the wrapping paper and, hands trembling, held up the box to see... his new scooter. It was an old scooter, one with wheels. He dropped the box, and his mother took a picture of Redd's shocked face.
Redd stood up and looked at his parents. He couldn't believe it. The one thing he wanted more than anything, and his parents couldn't even get him it. Do they love him at all, he thought. He walked outside angrily, giving his parents the excuse that he needed some air to calm down from the excitement. Redd walked through town. He lived in a small suburban town, not exactly rural but nowhere near a city. He liked it because everything was within arms' reach. The toy stores were next to the movie theater, which was next to the grocery store, which was all next to his house. Redd stopped in front of his favorite store, Johnny's Electronics. Johnny always had the newest gear, and he would always let Redd try out the new products that came in. That's where Redd found his love for hoverboards. Redd walked in. Johnny was there at the front counter, like always. This store was his life.
"Hey Redd! What are ya doing here, shouldn't you be off celebrating your birthday?"
Redd sighed. "I should be, shouldn't I?"
Johnny could see Redd was down.
"Hey, I gotcha a little something. It's nothing big, but it's something."
Redd's frown immediately flipped. Johnny always new how to cheer him up, so it was bound to be something good. From under the counter, Johnny pulled up a large box and he placed it on the counter. It was the Hover-X.
Redd jumped off his Hover-X, pressed the close button that would make it fold, and he placed it in his backpack. He ran into the Science building of his school, and made his way to class.
So now someone else makes a separate post that adds on to this one. Or you can make a new universe.
