I lived with a demon once nosleep

When I was 11, my parents, sister, and I moved into a new house. For me, this was a dream come true because it meant I would finally get my own room. Anyway, on to the story. When we first moved in, it seemed like it would be paradise. The neighbors were nice, the yard was big, and it even had a porch swing. The first week was nothing major; Things going missing and moved out of place. Naturally, we shrugged it off and blamed it on our imaginations.

The next week, things started getting more "intense." One night, I was up late listening to the radio in my room on the second floor, when the song I was listening to suddenly cut to static. I thought it was nothing major and went to adjust the antenna. Horrible mistake. When I walked over to the radio, I started hearing incoherent voices coming from it. This unnerved me, so I turned it off. They didn't stop. I was starting to panic, when I heard a "thump" outside. What happened next was what truly traumatized me. As I started walking over to my bed, I looked over to the window. I don't know why I did it, it was just a feeling that I should. On the window, I saw words scratched into the glass reading "Look" with an arrow pointing down. Seeing that caused chills to rush over my whole body. Once again, on auto pilot, I walked over and looked outside. What I saw next made me wish I had just walked out of the room altogether. Below my window was a pale, smiling, face staring right at me with its solid black eyes. Unable to move or scream, I stared back at it for what felt like an eternity. But, as soon as I blinked, it was gone. As soon as I was able to move again, I ran as fast as I could out of the room and to my parents' bedroom. I explained to them what I had seen and my dad left the room to check. He found nothing; No scratches on my window, no pale person, no sign that anyone had been under my window. I didn't sleep for the rest of that night.

The next night, I was able to sleep a little. But, I had woken up at exactly 2 AM from a nightmare. Hesitantly, I got out of bed to get something to drink. That's when it happened again. After I drank some milk and closed the refrigerator, I saw a note on the door of it reading "I see you. Can you see me?" Once again, my blood turned to ice and I froze. Frightened, I turned around, only to see the kitchen light go out. Adrenaline took over and I ran all the way back to my room, tripping a few times on the stairs. I slammed the door closed, locked it, and jumped into my bed, covering my head with the blankets. The door began to rattle, but my heart beat drowned it out. After another eternity, there was complete silence. I shakily took the blankets off of my head and peeked out. The door was wide open, but nothing was on the other side. Before I could pull the blanket over my head again, I felt something bump my leg. I slowly lifted the covers and checked, only to see the same pale face staring at me again with an even wider smile. I screamed as loud as I could. It opened its mouth wide and pulled itself towards me. Then everything went black. The next morning, I woke up in the hospital with an intense pain all over my body. I looked to my right and saw my parents sitting in chairs. They explained they heard me scream and ran to my room where they saw me violently shaking on my bed. I told them what had happened and they looked at each other, then whispered indistinctly to each other.

Fast forward a week later. I had been sleeping in my parents' room every night since I got back from the hospital. Nothing happened until this night. I was awoken by the sound of a loud "boom" accompanied by the scream of my sister. My parents jumped out of bed and ran out. I followed behind. When I stepped out of their room, I could see my dad running down the stairs and my mom with her hand over her mouth. I looked over the rail to see my sister's body laying at the end of the stairs. Her head was twisted all the way around, looking towards me, smiling.
