Wondering if anyone else has been in a similar situation.
We rented a reception hall that includes chairs, tables, silverware, and a BIG kitchen downstairs with two ovens, dishwasher and huge refrigerators. We paid $1200 for the place so why not take advantage of this kitchen? Here is my thought:
-Make the vegetables sides (boiled carrots/roasted veggies) -Go to bakery to get rolls, etc. -Buy hot beef or ham or something? -Make cupcake mix ahead of time and bake the day of
Does that sound like entirely too much work? I have a mother with 4 sisters who would help. I could even bake ahead of time.
We aren't having a ceremony because we already eloped (having a reception afterwards) and the event starts at 4pm. Dinner around 7pm.
Heat and serve????
Thanks for your feedback/input/advice!
