Closing on my first home in a few weeks, looking for advice on purchasing appliances? HomeImprovement

As the title says I'm buying my first home in a few weeks, March 2nd is the closing date and I'm out of my apartment lease at the end of March so I will be slowly moving in to the house along with my pregnant fiancé. The house is a 1910 house that was completely rehabbed and has new everything. There is a built in microwave and dishwasher already in the kitchen that are both whirlpool stainless steel units. So I need a Stove and a refriderator. Looking to buy stainless steel units to match the rest. The opening for the stove is the standard 30" wide. The opening for the fridge is 35" wide and 70" tall and I want to stay away from anything that's too deep because the I only have 26" before it starts sticking out from the wall. Obviuosly it's going to stick out a little but I don't want anything too crazy as I've seen refrigerators that measured 36" deep. I want a traditional fridge with the freezer on top. I've read too much about how the side by side units are hit and miss on reliability and I really don't think most of them use the space efficiently anyway. I'm on a tight budget somewhat. Looking to spend about $1000 on a fridge and maybe $600 on a stove. I've looked at the LG MODEL #LTCS24223S as far as refrigerators go and I've read good things about it and specifically LG freezer top models. Just wanted to know what you guys thought and if any of you had personal experience with it. The stove will be natural gas. Lowes has the stove to match the microwave for about $600. Thoughts? I also need a washer and electric dryer. Top load most likely. Any recommendations on washer and dryer combos that won't break the bank? Don't need anything fancy. Any recommendations are welcome and appreciated. I just want stuff that will be reliable and last a fairly long time. Like I said I don't need anything fancy.
