so what's the best way to cool food for refrigeration after it has been cooked? like a big pot of soup? that holds a lot of heat. if you just put it in the fridge, won't it increase the temperature of the refrigerator and put all of the already refrigerated food at risk of spoiling?
what about meat, or large amounts of pasta? if I put a hot roast into the fridge wouldn't it cause the same problem as the soup? or a big lasagna or bowl of spaghetti?
