my landlord is being an a$$ is there anything i can do? personalfinance

so ive been renting here for about 4 years and theres always been little problems with the house but we've always fixed it ourselves,well finally the refrigerator stopped working properly,and leaks water everywhere so i finally asked him if he'd pay half on a new fridge and he agreed(i even have proof) so whenever the fridge gets here and its paid for he says that it's not his responsibility that we have to pay for it,and any water damage done from where the previous leaked we have to pay for.....:( so now i'm just pissed and tell him about all the problems we've fixed ourselves. i brought up how 2 of the ac's dont work and how the dishwasher spits water everywhere nd this was his reply "that dishwasher isnt my problem because it wasnt in here when you got the house" IT WAS! and just ignored me about the ac and raised the rent. What should/can i do here? i feel stuck because theres nowhere else to move
