Is anyone else familiar with that stomach clenching, gut sinking, heart breaking feeling when a flashback and revelation are sparked by a mundane act, like cleaning the kitchen? raisedbynarcissists

Today I put together that I hate cleaning because the female would set me up to have to clean her house as punishment.

She would do this by giving me food for lunch that I despised. I would not finish the first bowl fast enough and be served a second. I would not be able to gag down the second bowl without vomiting pretty regularly. I had to eat that as well. Usually I was on the floor with no utensils after the other kids finished. Because I required so much extra work of the female I would be punished by having to clean.

Perhaps the reason the female was so angry with me about the refrigerator magnet letter is because it was proof I wasn't cleaning well enough? That seems to fit the pattern...

I hate remembering these things especially when they come together in ways that I can not in any way work my way around to some positive.
