I bought this small jar of salmon roe "caviar" at Costco some time ago. It is four ounces (112 g). The jar has never been opened, and it has been recently discovered behind an old jar of salsa in the refrigerator. There is no "use by" date on the jar. It has been in there over a year.
Dare I eat it?
