TLDR - This is a build that focuses on CC and combat support, and not so much damage or survivability. By no means is it some pro build, im asking for advice.
Basically im asking for suggestions regarding this build, im a fresh 50 and just want to see what people think of my build. Below i will explain how i use it and what i like about it, as well as what i am not willing to change. Any advice is still welcome.
What i am not willing to change - I play mages, i love mages, intellect and using a staff, that kinda stuff. - I love CC and dont really care if my dps is worthy of being posted on the refrigerator door - A large group pvp focus, that can still be viable in various situations. (i hate changing spec for various activities)
How i use this build my rotation basically follows this pattern: insidious whisper > mana force > eneverate > earthen grip > hell spear > crows overwhelm is then used to start off the enervate + earthen grip combo when it comes off cooldown
Any dead time i have is made up by using a movement abilities and spamming mana stars, and some extra CC abilities such as the bubble and the sleep spell. I do switch some things out depending on what i get in to (telekinesis is awesome) but this is the super basics of how this build is used in my mind. It is intended to be used in a group to keep interrupts and CC on the enemy, and annoy the hell out of mele builds. More of a tag along focus.
The Problem The main problem i am able to see with this is that it has a lot of cool-downs. I dont know how other builds are in terms of cool-downs but it defiantly feels like i blow everything and am waiting for stuff to be usable again (hence the name). Against archers or sorcerers that extra 5m allows them to kite me, however i am able to kite others rather well using this.
Again any opinions are welcome, and thanks in advance for the advice.
