I moved into this 2 bedroom last month. It's two blocks from the lake off of Grand, and only a 15 min walk to BART. I'm 26/F and am a recent arrival to Bay Area.
The apartment (built 1967) gets 1 parking space under the building so if you have a vehicle we can discuss splitting payment for a nearby space. No pets and no smoking allowed but there's a balcony for the tobacco friendly and I 420 inside. There's a laundry room in the basement. The kitchen has a stove, oven, refrigerator and dishwasher. There's an open plan dining and living room area. It also has a large balcony. I have the smaller bedroom, the one I'm offering measures 14.5' x 10.5'. It has an adjoining half-bathroom, a vanity area, large closet and small closet. Before I moved in, the landlord repainted and installed new carpeting.
So the full rent is $2200 a month for a year's lease (which began December 16th). I'm asking $1200 for the room and then we split the utilities - PG&E and comcast. If a couple wants to move in, you'll need to cover 2/3rds utilities.
Whoever moves in will need to apply through the landlord so you'll need to have decent credit and income/resources. So if you're interested please shoot me a message and I'll provide more information and pictures.
