The Silhouette nosleep

Hey /r/NoSleep, I've been lurking around on this subreddit for about a month now, and have decided to start posting a few of my stories. Let's start with something that still haunts, or follows me to this day.

*Just a little bit of history... I was around seven or eight at the time of the first incident. I was resting in my bed, and was suddenly awoken by a peculiar noise, so as a normal young boy, I decided to go and see if someone was up watching tv (which really excited me at the time, because I could go out and watch it with them). After realizing that this wasn't the case, a short trip to the refrigerator for a drink would take place before I went back to bed.

I started close my eyes as I gazed off at my ceiling, when all of a sudden the dim light which shone on it, shone no more. I look to my doorframe (yes, at that time of my life I slept with the door open), and let out an ear-piercing scream, as I saw IT. A human (won't say man or woman, because I don't know for sure) silhouette stood in my doorway, with the creepiest tilt of the neck and face. I looked away quickly and it was then, that it no longer stood there. My mom came, and flipped out the lights and asked what happened, and at the time I must have sounded like a mental case (there was nothing by the time she got there), because she tried to tell me it was just a nightmare, and I could somehow sense that she was living in a good way to make me feel more contented.

Eventually when I brought up the situation again, we had the talk about evil spirits, and demons who like to try and scare us, and that if ever saw them again, to deter them away with the name of Jesus Christ.*

Well, over the past month or so, I have been seeing the same silhouette out of the corner of my eye, or in my nightmares. I see IT in all of its empty black silhouette, even when it's perfect lighting, and by the time I think about it and look back, it's gone again. I remember reading a story not to long ago on perceptual vision, and how it works and such. I have also noticed times where either I get very cold all of a sudden, or then entire room becomes chilling to me, but not to other people.

It was just yesterday even, I was sitting away programming, and I became so cold, that my typing became drastically slower than usual. And guess what I saw standing by my closet out of the corner of my eye.

Now not to start a religious storm, but I feel it's necessary for the explanation. I got "saved" when I was young, and baptized at the age of 11. It hasn't been up until recently, that I have actually started basing my faith in God, and trying to have a relationship with him instead of just being a "good Christian". I go to church every week, we worship and read. One in a while during I sing, I get the weirdest chills, out of nowhere! I also started getting the chills lately in Bible class, but kind of surprisingly not when I meditate alone while praying.

I feel for that whatever reason, it's coming back. Maybe it's always been with me, but just hidden itself?

Just a brief note: I want to say that this is going to be updated in parts as I have more experiences, but I can't guarantee a breakthrough experience every 24 hours. So wouldn't it break some sort of 24-hour-between-parts rule? Therefor until this is clarified, I will just post separate accounts when I get around to it.
