I am looking to sublease my room in a great 5 bedroom, 2 bathroom house located in the student ghetto with a 5 minute walk to Jayhawk Boulevard and Mass Street. (Also 1 block from Bullwinkle's and 2 blocks from the Hawk and the Wheel-- far enough that you can't hear the bar noise at all though). My room is located downstairs at the front of the house. Our neighbors are also very respectful- we hardly even notice them.
House Features: -Hardwood through out -Washer/ dryer -Dishwasher, refrigerator, stove, oven... everything you'd expect a normal kitchen to have -3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom down stairs, 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom upstairs - 1,536 sq. feet -Grill/ brick patio area out back -Covered porch in the front -Both on and off street parking -Basement with lots of storage room
My roommates (4) are all very respectful, clean, easy to get along with guys, and are all sophomores (19/20 y.o.). They have no preference if you're a guy or a girl who moves in, they just ask that you're a student or around the same age. We like to keep the week days quiet around the house and we occasionally like to have get togethers on the weekends.
Room Features: -It looks like there's carpet in the room but I just have rugs. -I have a queen size bed in there, so you can see the scale of the room. -Decent natural light, not enough to be annoying when the blinds are open, but hardly any light gets in when the blinds are shut. -Dimmer switch -View from windows looks through the porch, toward Kentucky St. will come unfurnished
Please message me with any questions or for pictures! The room will be cleared out and ready for you to move in by January 7th! (I am transferring schools and will not be returning- the lease goes through the end of July. Dogs are OK, but you need to contact our management company to arrange that)
