Would love some ideas on food. Severely overweight [m/24]. loseit

Hello Loseit members. Firstly I'd just like to say that if this is in the wrong place or doesn't meet the guidelines of this subreddit, I'll gladly remove it.

tl;dr - I need help making changes to the food I eat, please if you can help me make a somewhat easy to follow meal plan where I can freeze most of the food, I'd be forever grateful.

I'm a 24 year old guy. 186cm tall (6ft 1in) 124kg (273 pounds / 19.5 stone) (I know bmi really isn't the best measure) (36 bmi)

I don't have any measuring tape on hand so I can't do those sorts of measurements.

What I'd like to ask, is a few things really.

My 25th Birthday is 43 weeks away. I'd LOVE to be around 85 kg by then (39kg lost) The number doesn't matter, its more or less a case of me knowing that it is around the healthy range for my size.

I know I should be eating about 1800-2200 calories a day. I know how to count calories.

My downfall is that I find any excuse in the book to not cook. And I have very little motivation to do so.

A few restrictions that I have.

  1. I can't cook food before 8am, I usually have to leave the house by 10am.

  2. Limited fridge space. (one smallish shelf + fruit area)

  3. 2 days a week I don't get home until 10pm

What I've got going for me

  1. Access to big freezer space.

  2. Access to fresh eggs/raw milk/really fresh fruit and vegetables (I exchange pasta that I make for fresh produce in a bartering style trade)

  3. At work, breaks are every 2 hours.

  4. Work has a microwave and a refrigerator

  5. I have my own road bicycle and gym membership that I never use (but that is more or less a case of lacking motivation)

My biggest downfall right now is that I have always lived a very unhealthy relationship with food. My mother had the worst attitude for food I can possibly imagine and I've taken those habits with me.

I know it's a cop out, I control my own destiny. I can cook food, I just find it very, very hard to plan this sort of thing. Usually what happens is that I go to the supermarket, I get a whole bunch of fruit and vegetables. They end up rotting in the fridge.

What I'd really appreciate some help with, is some ideas on things I can make that I can freeze. Or something that can be stored up to a week in the fridge.

I've seen so many recipes and the sorts, I just need some sort of grounding. You know, like a small plan for things I could eat for breakfast lunch and dinner with some fruit sprawled along.

Things I'll never eat. 1. scrambled eggs 2. scrambled eggs 3. scrambled eggs

I have 5kg of chicken drumsticks sitting in the freezer. I was planning on brining them and taking the meat and using it for salad sandwichs and reheatable dinner protein.

Not a huge fan of red meat unless it's bacon. I do enjoy steak, it's just very expensive where I am. I'm open to using liver/kidney/heart.

Making pasta is what I do in my spare time (barely eat it though) Also, very good at making a nice hummus with tahini, garlic, lemon juice and paprika. Also able to roast chickens, make bread, roast lamb, make spaghetti, follow recipes.

If anybody is able to give me a little bit of a guideline of what to have, I'd be forever appreciative. I don't mind if it's rice and chicken with vegetables, just as long as I'm able to store it frozen. Cooking every day is out of the question.
