How Has Your Kitchen Changed Since Keto? 100DaysofKeto

When I first started keto, one of the first things I did was eliminate any carby foods from the house. This is how I usually have it stocked, except normally I have more meats lol. I'm trying to develop a routine at the grocery store, I just want to figure out where to get my meats from. New Seasons has a good selection at their butcher shop, but it's more expensive than Whole Foods. Meh, I'll figure it out. Just gotta find out what I feel like making.

Anyways, here is my kitchen!

  • Freezer. I'm currently trying to finish off a bunch of this stuff. Basic things in here like the bacon, shrimp, some ground turkey, tilapia, and some bagged veggies and a berry mix that I've never used lol.

  • Refrigerator Door. Yes that is ketchup down there on the bottom. It's some sugar free stuff I found at Whole Foods. 1g of carbs per tablespoon. Lots of butter. I use the unsalted stuff for cooking and the salted stuff for BPC.

  • Refrigerator Drawers. Not much meat at the moment. Tons of vegetables and then some shirataki noodles that I haven't used yet. Any tips on those?

  • Refrigerator Main. Lots of cheese. There's more cream cheese behind the other stuff. Coconut and almond milk, along with some broth for soup. More veggies. Bonus pic of what's in the tin foil!

  • Pantry 1. Tons of baking stuff in here. On the top is coffee, chia seeds, salt, xanthan gum, almond flour, coconut flour, then flax meal. Got some nut butters and cacao nibs, tons and tons of nuts, then a bunch of seasoning stuff for baking.

  • Pantry 2. More stuff for cooking and whatnot. That's erythritol up there on the right. I think it tastes sweet enough, but my dad says that the food I've made with it isn't as sweet as he thought. Meh.

  • Pantry 3. And here are my canned foods and quest bars. There's also a 95% chocolate bar hidden up there that tastes delicious. I have pumpkin at the moment because it's that time of year and I really want to try a keto pumpkin pie lol.

And that's it! This is to show that keto is indeed healthy and sustainable. It's not all just a slice of meat, cheese, then some nuts. If it helps at least one person realize how simple keto can be and sway them towards it, then I'd consider this post a success. What about you guys? What does your kitchen look like, or how has it changed since you started keto?

Bonus pic of my latest experiment. It's shredded green cabbage, cream cheese, kerrygold dubliner, sliced up Italian sausage, and some bacon bits in there. I can post the recipe if requested, but it's basically just toss everything in a pan until the cheese is melted and the cabbage is as soft as you like.
