I am currently purchasing my first home and am in the option period. The MLS clearly explains that the nice refrigerator is included in the listed price. We negotiated a lower price at contract, property as-is. When I asked the home owner if he had the receipt for the refrigerator he said he did but that he plans on returning it after closing because it isn't included in the contract under the special provisions section of the contract? WTF?
What are my options here? I am going at this without a broker btw
