He-man Pasta Salad Cheap_Meals


This is a simple recipe my parents made when they were young. It's not too expensive, high in protein and is perfect for on then go. Granted, it's not the healthiest meal but easy to make and satisfying.


Ingredients: 12-16 oz cheddar cheese 1 can (12 oz) spam (I use low sodium) 16 oz pasta 1/3 cup or 6 tbsp mayonnaise or miracle whip Paprika and Parsley to taste


Boil pasta til tender according to package. Meanwhile, cut cheddar and spam in to half inch cubes. When pasta is finished, drain and rinse til cool to the touch. Pour pasta in a bowl and let sit in the refrigerator for 5 minutes. Remove and combine with other ingredients and stir or shake until thoroughly mixed. Add paprika and parsley starting with 1 tablespoon each to desired taste.


Makes about 6 servings and last atleast 1.5 weeks refrigerated.
